The polytechnic, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) has more than 150 technology, undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the areas of Business, Construction, Computing and Information Technology, Design and Communication, Engineering and Technologies, Environment and Natural Resources, Health and Life Sciences, Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary and English classes. Canadian immigration laws allow you to work while you study, with the option of applying for permanent residence after having worked for a year and a half in your area of study. You can travel to Alberta with your whole family (spouse and minor children) while you study.
